libgtk-3-common software package provides 3.14.5-1+deb8u1, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgtk-3-common
libgtk-3-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgtk-3-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgtk-3-common *
You will get with libgtk-3-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
